ABOUT

Sarah N. Duncan's mixed-media works explore themes of identity such as queerness, whiteness, parenthood and friendship using storytelling to express her truths through varying lenses. Trained as a graphic designer Duncan is now completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in art at the University of Minnesota where she received the Joel and Aja Ceramics Fund scholarship. Her piece "Pocket Survival Guide for Introverts" was featured in the Quarter Gallery’s online exhibit Undergraduate Scholarship Awards. This winter (December 2, 2021-February 6, 2022), she is showing her puppet masks series "Truth in Masquerade" in
Coffman Union's Second Floor Gallery at the University of Minnesota.
